Well January is flying by, the days seem to come and go, mind you we have been busy.
No more hoar frosts but still very cold, lots of jumpers and log fires.
Heres a few photos to show you what we have been up to this January.

- Its been very cold so more logs were needed
- The truck got stuck in the mud, Kev had to tow it out.
- We have been busy renovating and painting the old French dresser we bought from a Brocante
- Annie Sloane paint is amazing, no rubbing down required.
- We used Paris Grey paint and then put a coat of wax over it.
- Kev added a LED light under the top cupboard.
- All done and filled with goodies.
- We have had a few dinner parties, Chris Kevs brother surpassed himself making delicious Chicken and leek pies, complete with our guests initials on them.
- We have also been cracking on with insulating the loft, external wall done now on with the roof which is a tricky job as the ceiling is sloped.
- Miel has been very inquisitive as usual, roaming around and popping up in unusual places.
- But every explorer needs their rest.
- She always finds the cosiest spots.
- And then theres the days spent posing for photos, its such a hard life.
